Spring Walks 2009

Mark the following dates in your Diary and please come along to our walks. They are Entertaining, Educational and, of course, Free.

Everybody is welcome so please join us and bring your friends.


Dress for the weather on the day and check to see if there are any special requirements e.g. "stout shoes needed". All of our walks are suitable for all ages and are done at a "gentle" pace.

Sunday 26th April at 3.00pm

Walk to Leixlip Spa, Aqueduct and Royal Canal walk.

Meet at Louisa Bridge railway station car park (opposite side of the road to the station)

Notes: There is a parking charge of €2.00 in the car park on Sundays.
Come prepared for possibly muddy walking.

Sunday 10 May at 3.00pm

Walk by the Liffey at The Irish National War Memorial Park, and Riverside Walk.

Meet at Car Park beside War Memorial Park - Off South Circular Rd between Sarah's Bridge and the Con Colbert Rd junction

Sunday 17 May at 3.00pm

Lucan Village and Riverside Walk

Meet in Lucan Village Green; opposite the Methodist Church
